Privacy policy

This policy describes how nextPM.in (“we”) processes personal data of users in India in connection with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). We are the data fiduciary for data collected through this website.

Data we collect

• Public alias (a nickname you choose; do not use your legal name).
• Country label.
• Chosen sentiment hashtag and simulated candidate.
• A compressed photo you upload, stored as image data.
• Consent flags, consent time, and consent version.
• A hashed network identifier used only for rate limiting and abuse response. We do not store raw IP addresses in the card table.
• Report and takedown form contents if you submit them.

Purpose and legal basis

We process this data to operate an entertainment gallery, to record that you consented to public display, and to handle abuse, security, and legal requests. Publishing is optional. Download-only use does not send your photo to our database.

Public display

If you click “Publish to wall”, your alias, photo, hashtag, and simulated choice become visible to anyone on the internet. Do not publish if you are not comfortable with that.

Children

The service is for persons 18 years or older. We do not knowingly process personal data of children. If you believe a child’s photo was published, report the card and email legal@nextpm.in.

Retention and deletion

Published cards stay public until you request erasure, we hide them after reports, or we close the service. Email legal@nextpm.in from a reachable address, identify the card (link, alias, and approximate time), and we will hide or delete it after we can reasonably match the request.

Sharing

Hosting and database providers (for example Vercel and Supabase) process data as processors on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data if required by Indian law.

Your rights

Subject to the DPDP Act, you may request access, correction, erasure, and withdrawal of consent for future display. Withdrawal does not undo lawful processing already completed, but we will stop public display of matched cards.
